Located on the old fishing harbour of Soller, at the beginning of a hill and at only 150 metres from the beach, the Hotel Suliar Palace -which was renovated during 1999- features 109 air conditioned rooms built over 5 floors.
All rooms are air conditioned or centrally heated (depending the season) and come equipped with bathroom with shower and hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, fridge, safe box (available at a local fee) and either a balcony or terrace, some of them with views over the port.
Hotel facilities available to guests include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service, luggage rooms for late departures, 2 lifts, a bar, internet access point, a lounge and a store room for bicycles.
Bookings at the Sulir Palace can be done either half board or all inclusive, and food is served in their buffet style restaurant, which offers a wide variety of food -including and vegetarian menus- and has separate non-smoking area.
Leisure facilities include an outdoor fresh water swimming pool with separate children area and solarium with sunbeds and parasols, as well as an indoor small heated pool, Jacuzzi, sauna, gym, Turkish bath and massages (some of those available at additional fees).
As for entertainment, the hotel offers live music once a week and a flamenco show every two weeks.

We have 1 traveller who has reviewed the Suliar Palace Hotel.
Rated as 3 star but is actually a struggling 2 star. Air conditioning in bedroom not working, hair dryer useless.
Rooms were reasonably cleaned, there were 3 hangars in wardrobe for 2 people for 2 weeks. Wardrobe shelf held up with nails. Carpet on stairway very threadbare. Two coffee/tea machines in dining room badly need replaced, toaster inadequate (bread goes round 4 times and only warmed up)!
Stayed for 2 weeks and no flamenco show, only 1 night was there live music (a young man on keyboards).
We enjoyed our holiday in the Port but would not recommend the Suliar Palace however and would not return.
