Built by the architect Joaquín Pavía Birmingham -who also created the Diputación de Mallorca (headquarters of the Council of Majorca)- during the XIX Century, this manor house was totally refurbished during 2003 to be now the home to the Soller Gran Hotel, a 5 star hotel lsituated right in the centre of the town of Sóller, one of Mallorca's most charming villages.

The hotel offers 38 double bedrooms and suites, divided in to many different categories. As in every 5 star hotel, all rooms at the Gran Hotel Soller have individually controlled air condition or or heating and come equipped with a fully fitted en suite bathroom with shower, hairdryer and bathrobes, direct dial telephone, free Internet, modem and fax connection points, satellite TV, mini bar, electronic safe and either a balcony or terrace. Their top room, the Imperial suite, among the above facilities, has also 2 bedrooms with bathroom, one of them with jacuzzi, lounge and terrace. The hotel offers 1 rooms for handicapped as well as various non smoking rooms.

Buffet breakfast is served in the Atico dinning room, with views over the village, also opened in summer during the night as bistro. The main hotel is restaurant is called "Blau", and offers fusion of Mediterranean recipes and other gourmet delicacies, together with a vast wine cellar. And all weekends from May to September the hotel offers the Gastronomical Days, a series of thematic dinners in the roof terrace with live music.

Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service and lift, small boutique, bridge room, conference room, taxi & limousine services and private car park.

Guest facilities include an outdoor swimming pool with solarium, a rooftop outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. Fitness centre, sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi, massage and beauty salon are other of the leisure facilities available at the hotel.
