My wife and I take holidays in other hotels and in other countries but our main holiday has been at the Es Port for the past eleven years.
We hope to continue as long as we are able because the ambience, amenities and general character of the place are major contributors to our holiday enjoyment.
Next year will be our twelfth consecutive visit. Fingers crossed!

Happily, my wife and I did return to the Es Port as we had hoped, and experienced another great holiday this September.
Unexpectedly, we found that the dining room has had a complete makeover. Most of the cooked food is now prepared in full view of the diners and there is much frying of both fish and meat. The soups are rather better as is the breakfast bacon, but there is no gravy for the meat [if you like gravy]. Choice of seating in the dining room is quite restricted because of many reserved tables for the parties of mainly German hikers who fill the hotel at this time of year and must sit together at mealtimes.
The Es Port Hotel is a gem to which we will return for our main annual holiday for as long as we are able. Next year will be our eleventh visit.

First of all, my wife and I love the Port and the area in general, but our holidays are truly enhanced by staying at the Es Port.
Having just returned from our ninth consecutive holiday at this hotel, we can report another good experience. A lot may depend on which room is allocated to you and different grades of rooms incur different prices, but the extensive buffet menu is the same for all. The soups aren't as good as they used to be and the breakfast bacon quality is not of the best. Having said that, the food is a little better this year with more vegetables at dinner.
In September, expect to find large groups of German hikers who tend to take over the dining areas at mealtimes.
We sincerely hope to make our tenth visit next year, which says it all.
