Majorca Hotels Guide

As this was my 1st time to Mallorca I had the best time of my life. I spent 3 days there with my family. Where do I begin!!!!

The Oasis Punta Amer is a lovely small boutique type hotel. It is a very quite and relaxing place to stay. The staffs are so amazing and so friendly and will do anything for you. The hotel is clean and fresh with a fabulous feel of warmth. They have a glass lift that take you 4 floors up which is great because it overlooks the sea.

The room we had 409 was great we had a fall view of the sea plus the pool and on a sunny day you can see as far as the eye can see. The rooms are clean slightly small but very airy as the colour scheme is very simple with light greens and beige's. We did ask to be upgraded to a superior room but they wanted 16 Euros extra per night but there wasn’t any different in view but just larger rooms.

We took advantage of there facilities i.e. Indoor swimming pool, Sauna, gym which is free and that was great also.

The resort itself is more for a mature crowd and family not for young couples but in saying that we fitted in really well and had a great time as there are Restaurants and bars you can go and only 5 mins away from the town is Porto Christo and Cala Millor where there is more bars and restaurants you can attend.

Also the other advantage we had was we hired a car which was great because it allowed us to tour the whole of the island and that was just amazing.

All I can say is I will definitely go back again and I will say that do book your hotels or holidays through Alpha Rooms as they are cheap efficient and very friendly staff much better then any other hotel operators. Thank you Alpha rooms and Oasis for a fabulous holiday.

Additionally, the hotel is what I expected. If you are expecting top notch food and air conditioned rooms you go 5 star and not 3 star. The rooms were clean and the towels were changed daily. There is no policy, however for the provision of sun beds. It is first come first served. We went for breakfast at 8am and found it hard to find a spot. (Why would you want to get up at 7am on holiday to sling your towel on a sun bed?).

The food was a little samey each lunch and evening but it was edible and the fish wasn't bad. We ate well and didn't complain too much. The beaches were close by and were reasonably clean. All in all it wasn't the best but we didn't pay a lot for it.

I really had a very excellent holiday. I want others to know that you would enjoy yourself staying here even for just a night. There was so much too do at the resort and in the surrounding areas. It is a stones throw away from the beach which is very convenient and the beach is lovely.

The bar staff are all kind and helpful. There are a lot of really nice restaurants in close proximity to the Punta Amer and the resort is great for the kids too. The entertainment is very good and the accommodation is of the highest standard.

Again, I would highly recommend this holiday to everyone especially to any family.
