Part of the Marina Group of hotels, the 3 star Hotel Rey Don Jaime (also spelled Don Jaume in mallorquin) is situated between the beach and the Santa Ponsa golf course. Built in 1971 and renovated during 2002, this medieval decorated style hotel features 417 rooms, including 5 suites, distributed over 5 floors and surrounded by gardens.

The hotel rooms are equipped with air conditioning, heating, telephone, television, complete en-suite bathroom with a hairdryer and all the modern day comforts you will usually find a 3 star hotels. Rooms have either balcony or terrace, most of them facing the pool or the garden area. Disabled available on the hotel premises.

Leisure facilities available at the Marina Rey Don Jaime includes an outdoor swimming pool with separate children’s section and sun terraces and gardens, a smaller indoor heated pool, as well as both pool and table tennis tables.

Other facilities at the hotel include a 24 hour reception, currency exchange service, luggage rooms for late departures, public Internet, games room, laundry and medical services, 5 lifts and a TV room with satellite TV. Additionally a bar, a conference room and a buffet style restaurant (with non-smoking area) with show cooking and vegetarian buffet are also offered. If arriving by car you may take advantage of the car park or garage facilities.

Golf lovers may ask for help bookings tee times in reception for the Santa Ponsa Golf, only 2 kilometres away from the hotel. Also, Marina Rey Don Jaime has the La Pergola and El Pendolon conference rooms for your conferences, conventions and banquets in a classical and elegant location.

Finally, the Don Jaime also runs a seasonal programme of daytime activities including many sports as well as evening entertainment with live music, bingo and other professional shows.

We stayed here in July 2009!

This hotel is the best ever!! Entertainment staff are the best ever!! Lots of different activities for everyone.

I would recommend it to anyone!! Going back next year again. I love it so much, the people I met are all really nice xx

I stayed here in June and had a fantastic time!

The hotel is fresh and bright, there is a friendly atmosphere and a fantastic entertainments team who provide hours of games during the day and a variety of shows at night.

This is complimented by the professional performers who are brought in nightly! Rooms are comfortable, food is good and facilities are excellent.

The location is also great with a 2 min walk to the beach... all flat surfaced and a five min walk to bars and restaurants.

Highly recomended!!

We had a great time....

Entertainment staff were brilliant !!!! One problem... hotel saw fit to let a group of teenagers stay in two rooms on our floor ! Shouting and playing loud music at all hours of the night. Everyone complained and they left after a few more days... After trashing their room !!!! Hotel were slow to do anything.

Love Santa Ponser but prefer the HESPERIA next door.

We have been to this hotel 5 times and never been disappointed yet.

The food was very good , the location superb and the entertainment was very varied .

We are going back again this year -cant wait.

We stayed here August 2008, great hotel, good food, good location, although sun loungers we a nitemare: had to queue from 7.15 in morning and then they would unlock doors and everybody ran for them. Old people that we spoke to spent their whole week there without getting a sun lounger, think the system needs changing as is very unfair.

Would go back there definitely as lovely place.

Very good hotel, stayed there in 07.

Rooms very clean, food very good, entertainment also of a high standard, 2mins walk to beach.

Super Hotel. Stayed here on 4 occasions and going again in Sept 2008.

Food Excellent. Staff very helpful. Rooms cleaned daily and regular changes of towels and linen. Handy place for quiet bars, etc but also can easily reach fun pubs/clubs and the superb square for live tribute bands.

Hotel has regular professional shows in season and staff provide good entertainment too.

Superb hotel for children and adults alike.

Terrific hotel with great friendly staff, food also very good, rooms very nice and ours cleaned every day, pool area good with lifeguard.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

We stayed here May 200,7, we had a great holiday.
The rooms were basic but clean, pool area is nice, the food was very good.

A nice clean hotel with friendly staff close to the beach and shops.
