Part of the Hipotels chain, the Marfil Playa Hotel is located in the center of the Sa Coma tourist resort, just 100 metres away from the Sa Coma beach and the local shopping and entertainment zone. Built in 1990, this modern 4 start hotel offers 162 rooms built over 7 floors.

All rooms are air conditioned and come equipped with a en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, satellite TV, direct dial telephone, safety box available for rental and either a balcony or terrace, most of them facing the pool area or the garden.

Food is served on its air conditioned buffet restaurant where guests can choose between regional, national or international dishes, and there is also a snack bar by pool. Accommodation can be booked either half board or all inclusive.

Hotel guest facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service, TV and card-players lounge, launderette, fax service, Internet connection area, laundry and medical services, luggage rooms for late departures, as well as rental facilities among others.

Sport facilities include a tennis and squash courts, gymnasium, children's playground, a swimming pool with separate children's section and spacious sun terraces and a smaller indoor heated pool.

The Marfil has its own entertainers team and a large repertoire of shows and activities which are presented indoor or outdoor when the whether permits. During the day they organise activities such as day water polo and aerobics and in the evening there is a children's mini disco followed by live music and professional shows.

Since October 2003, the Hotel Marfil saw rewarded its compromise to the environment by receiving the certification ISO 14001, which has been renovated year after year until the present day.
