This hotel is quite old but comfortable.

Air condition is plugged around 12 at night. The pool is very clean. The food, when I was there, was mediocre.

There NO Internet connection in the rooms or the apartments.

Editor's note: the original review was written in Spanish and translated by us.

Ola Club Cecilia. We loved it! It was a great place for us.

We had an apartment in block 6 with a great ocean view. The personal at Club Cecilia was really helpful and kind. And their maids clean our room every second day. The food down in the restaurant was lovely.

The pool was nice, but could maybe have been a little bit bigger. But still we had the greatest beach on the coast.

A great restaurant was placed like 100 meters from the reception, and they had food that tasted like heaven.

We also explored a bar there called Mc Kenna's with really nice bartenders Tara and Johnny. They were very welcoming.

Spar were right below us, so we could by some food and candy. They also had a lot of toys to the water for the kids to play with.

I think Club Cecilia is something for people in every age. It was a lot of fun for kids. Bars for the little more grown ups and it was really romantic for the people who is planning a trip for two.

I recommend this place at the strongest!

Rooms awful, run down and poor quality in everything. Restaurant??? More like a canteen. Not even a tablecloth to be seen.

We were extremely disappointed but tried to make the most of it but not easy with not much else in the vicinity.

We spent loads going out elsewhere. Staff very nice, doing the best with what they'd been given to work with.

Only one bar area so could never get away from kids' clubs and all the inevitable noise they make. Won't ever go back.

On arrival we were given a key to room across the road.

Appalling room, smelt disgusting with overpowering plug ins making the smell worse! We asked for a cot which was not in room! We asked to be moved to which we were told by an unpleasant staff member it would be extra 12e per day! We didn't change but to our huge disappointment a female couple were upgraded a couple of days later at no extra charge. I feel the decision was so unfair as we have a two year old girl (priorities!)

Nothing in this small place, run down, ants everywhere. Staff disheartened. We travelled to Cala d'Or most days to get away from it.

I would not recommend this holiday to anybody. We kept our apt clean with bleach etc. therefore we had no ants but no thanks to Ola ! Hated this holiday.

The beach that everybody says is nice is okay. Its small with hardly any room on it in the afternoon. Very expensive place.

Staff were unpleasant and were doing just what was told of them. They were robots. I will never be here again.

The thing that most annoyed me is the female couple getting upgraded to a better room for nothing and yet we have a two year old and when we asked they wanted 12euro a day!! How on earth would they want us to return after this unbalanced decision.

Don't ever go its faulty towers honestly.

This holiday was the worst I have ever been to, there is nothing to do for people between the ages of 6 and 60.

The resort consists of one street, people were ignorant and would not give you any information of where to go, taxis to places cost a lot and everything was so expensive and I will never go to this place again...!

In point of view the Ola Cecilia Club offer what a 3 star hotel can offer...

We've been there June 2009.

The rooms were clean 3 times a week, the staff were really nice and helpful.

With exception of one of the restaurant servers (try to avoid him), was really aggressive to my 2 years old son just because my son is loud... but any way I put him in this place.

The hotel restaurant was really cheap six euros per adult and normally you would be offer good variety of food, in our time there only in 2 evenings the food was bit poor. The restaurants around and in Porto Colom were a bit expensive but affordable, I would avoid "mar" restaurant... was serve to us grilled squids full of sand inside...

The place is really quite, but if you have young children like us is the perfect spot...

Over all we had an amazing time and our son just love it...
