Just back from ten days holiday at Ola Tomir, thoroughly enjoyed every minute, all the staff worked extremely hard to ensure we had a great holiday. The hotel was sparkling clean, comfortable, nice clientèle no rowdiness, perfect.

We were a party with ages ranging from 6 to 66, all had a great time.

Sorry to leave, we will definitely return.

I think we stayed at a different hotel!!

We stayed at the Ola Tomir in April 2011 and really liked this hotel. We stay at different hotels every year and have stayed many times in Majorca.

Staff were mostly lovely maids, bar, restaurant and reception staff (apart from the grumpy old man - but all old men are grumpy aren't they?). The kid's club was fab. Pool was clean (although cold - a good wake up!). Food was fine - a bit repetitive, sometimes not a lot of choice, sometimes loads of choice - but the chefs were pleasant when you asked for more or even stuff they'd not cooked (speak a little Spanish you get more). Rooms were great, massive, with kitchen and fridge. Like ALL hotel balconies, don't leave kids alone out there (who would?).

Pacia and Rafa (animation) were FABULOUS. We met some nice people too - no idiots there! Pool would be a bit packed in the height of the season, but quite a lot of room for the kids. Right on the bus route for Palma and Palma Nova (buses get packed at 10-11 o'clock). The beach is a little walk. My wife has severe back problems and we walked it in 15-20 minutes. Don't bother going to the supermarket in the Portals Nous village as the walk is hilly. Go to the Mercadona (main road to Palma Nova - 10-20 minutes walk) or the Lidl in Palma Nova.

The 'Iceland' shop's a bit pricey, so turn left out of the hotel, walk 200 yards and and there's a little tienda next to a bar, that's cheaper for some things.
Great hotel, little closer to the beach would've been great.

Not very clean, pool was quiet dirty. Lifeguard uninterested in job did not watch the pool area, way too interested in sunning himself!

Food was awful.

Fun team behaved disgracefully in front of youngsters, were always drunk and trying to encourage teenagers to go with them drinking. These teenagers were not of the legal age of consent to drink!

Apartments were unhygienic.

This hotel was more suited to people who preferred going out drinking, not suitable for young kids.

The list is endless. I have visited many countries and many resorts all over the world and by a long shot this was the worst.

Take my advice do not go here it is a waste of your money!

We stayed in these apartments for two weeks from 18/09/10 and everything was perfect.

Good food, room very good... This was my first attempt at booking a holiday on-line,and it came up trumps.

May go back there next year, I liked it so much.

Quiet location, ideal for families.

Poor buffet and price didn't include drinks which they don't tell you on booking, reception staff even said that drinks WERE included when I asked but then later denied when I complained! Hotel is VERY money orientated charging 10.99 for a toaster and even trying to charge 17.00 for a family who were asking for a lid to the kettle that was in the room! Staff starting putting up prices as the days went on as the hotel became busier.

Local restaurants were unable to cope with the August rush so we were often neglected- they really took offence to any reminders that we had waited 30 minutes for our drinks! Food was usually very good which being freshly cooked meant a wait which was fine, but often any extra orders made in between (drinks, bread etc.) were forgotten.

We went here on the 15 july 2010 for 1 week. Wish we would have booked 2 weeks. Brilliant location, easy to get to Palma Nova (5 mins. on bus).

A great hotel. Fun team, brill., food excellent, spotless hotel didn't even see as much as a fly.

I'm trying to book it now for next time. Can't wait to go back, well worth it.

Great laugh and fun for all ages, you don't even have to venture out of the complex, that much going on.

Our gran daughter was crying the day we had to come home, hey but I was nearly crying to recommend it to anyone, absolutely fantastic. Fun team, brill., and you get a good sleep as bar closes at 12pm. On the dot teenagers would then venture out to nightlife in Magaluf, which wasn't to far away.

Absolutely brilliant and well worth the money. 2 weeks for us next time and I don't think that will be long enough.

Our Family stayed in the Tomir the last 2 weeks in August, 2 adults 2 teenagers and 1 child and we couldn't have asked for more.

The fun team were excellent with plenty to do from morning till night for all the family really getting everyone involved in the activities.

I was bit weiry to say the least after reading the comments on the website, but without a doubt was a brill holiday from start to finish for the whole family.

Honestly have no complaints.

Stayed here in August 08.

Lovely pool area and excellent restaurant. Cleaning standards were poor and generally the hotel could do with a refurb. Lifts were often out of order which is not much fun if you are on the ninth floor.

I had a good holiday with my family but we had to travel to Palma Nova by taxi to do any shopping.

I wouldn't like to stay in this Hotel again. The entertainment was ok, but "funteam" drank alcohol while on duty in front of the children.
