View of Hotel Residencia Sis Pins

Located in the seafront and facing the Puerto Pollensa beach, the 3 star Hotel Residence Sis Pins in Puerto Pollensa offers 51 rooms built over only 2 floors. While built on the early 60's during the Majorca tourist boom, the hotel was renovated during 2000. Six pine trees (Sis Pins, in mallorquin) on the front of the hotel give the place his name.

All rooms at the hotel come equipped with air conditioning system (or heating, according to the season), en suite bathroom with shower, safety deposit, satellite TV, fridge as well as tea and coffee making facilities.

While the hotel doesn't have a big amount of rooms, it does offer many different room types:

Single

individual rooms located at the rear side of the hotel

Standard Twin

double/twin rooms located at the side of the hotel

Twin with Balcony or Interior Patio

twin rooms located either at the back of the hotel facing the Formentor Road or overlooking the courtyard and patio, facing the interior area of the hotel

Twin with Sea view

rooms facing the Puerto Pollensa bay and beach

Twin with Sea view and Balcony

same as above, but including a balcony

Twin with Sea view Terrace

Situated on the first floor, the so called Gran Terraza rooms are considered the best in the resort and come equipped with table, chairs, parasol and loungers. As you can imagine these also face to the sea and have views over the Pollensa Bay

Guest facilities at the hotel include a private beachside sun terrace, the Pine Walk terrace, lounge area with T.V., bar, restaurant, hot buffet breakfast, lift, and hairdryers available from reception. Please note that there is no pool at the hotel, but you are at most two steps from the beach.

Just returned from a week at the Sis-Pins, first ever visit to Puerto Pollensa.

So glad we picked the Sis-Pins as its in a great central location for all shops, restaurants and walks. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel was maybe old compared to the more modern ones in the resort but it was very clean and the rooms were cleaned daily.

Also was very happy that we decided on booking to have a room at the front with balcony, and the view out over the bay was absolutely magic. Great to wake up to in the morning so if you can afford the wee bit extra go for the sea view, you wont be disappointed, worth every penny.

Did not miss the fact there was no pool as a few steps and you were on the beach, plenty of sun loungers and all free, no matter the time of day you would always get a lounger not like some places we have been to, a mad rush first thing in the morning for a lounger.

This hotel is far superior, buffet breakfast and meals taken on the sun terrace was great. Also don't forget for under 2 euros you can jump on the bus and visit Pollenca and Alcudia. The bus stance is only a 100 yard walk from the Sis-Pins.

Highly recommend, cant wait till next year. Will certainly go back, the only problem I had was getting my wife to go on the coach to go to Palma airport.

Fantastic hotel, staff nice, hotel very clean, food great.

Only one thing I wish there was a pool although right next to private beach.

All of us want to go back, my kids Amy 7 and Ryan 4 had a great time.

Re an earlier comment, we have just returned from Puerto Pollensa and the Sis Pins has reopened.

We enjoyed an excellent dinner there overlooking the sea.

Fabulous hotel with great sea views and facilities.

Just a pity it's now closed as a result of the Globespan collapse (who owned the hotel).

Let's hope it re-opens ASAP!

Have now stayed at this hotel twice, both in July 08, and 09.

Could not fault it in any way, rooms were well located, but would advise a front sea view room, you can sit and watch the world go by. The rooms were spotlessly clean, and cleaned daily.

We were there on a BB basis, the breakfasts were varied and plentiful.

This hotel is well located for shops, walks and buses for trips around the island. The staff were friendly and could not do enough for us.

Loved it and hope to be back sometime in the future.

We brought this holiday from friends that couldn't make it so didn't know what to expect.

Arrived to find that we had the enviable room with a view over the bay and thoroughly enjoyed our stay....

Will be attempting to book again soon!

Excellent hotel, very good value.

Spotlessly clean, very helpful staff, food excellent and the terrace is great to watch the world go by.

We have been twice and will return soon !!

Been several times to Sis Pins and returning again in september.

We have been to Singala and Hotel Uyal only because we were not quick enough of the mark to book Sis Pins.

This central lovely hotel is worth a visit, unlike some we think the extra for front balcony worth every penny as my hubby cannot walk far and we watch the world go by.

Stayed here for a short break in May 2009. Thoroughly enjoyed it - staff were all very friendly and helpful, hotel was spotless. Good, central location, and sunbeds just opposite, overlooking the marina.

I'd recommend this hotel to anyone. I'll be back!!

Been twice now and found staff very helpful and friendly, hotel extremely clean.

Couldn't have found a better place to spend time relaxing on the loungers watching the boats going by.

We stayed in this hotel from 21st April 2009 until 8th May 2009.

After only 2 days unfortunately my husband became ill and was removed to intensive care Hospital Muro. The management and staff were so sympathetic and helpful and I did not feel so alone.

The hotel and situation is perfect for what should have been a lovely holiday. The staff in the dining room were wonderful and the food excellent. Perhaps when we are able we will return and enjoy this lovely hotel.

We have stayed in Sis Pins a few times over the last three years. It's a hotel which epitomises excellent value for money.

The hotel is clean and rooms are comfortable. Breakfast is also buffet style with a good variety of choices. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

This review is based on staying in the hotel and not trying to get a drink on the terrace. There are plenty of bars to get a drink and as for cocroaches-what rubbish!

We would thoroughly recommend Sis Pins as a good 3* hotel (doesn't claim to be what it isn't). It is central for all the amenities of Puerto Pollensa and the views from the front bedrooms are fabulous.Well worth a visit!

Stayed here several times and the staff, service and cleanliness is faultless. if a bit old fashioned.

Highly recommended for the older couple wanting a nice relaxing stay.

We did not stay at the hotel, but over the last few years if you want a drink on the terrace forget it.

Each time we have been it is a case of cockroach watching and as for waiting for a drink expect a minimum of 15 mins.

First class hotel. Very comfortable rooms with beautiful views of the bay.

Food excellent, breakfast very substantial and dinner menus varied. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Situated in best section of the promenade in a lovely quiet resort. Sea only 20 yards away with first class sunbed facilities.

Thoroughly recommended
