The Illa d'Or is part of Majorca tourism history. Opened in 1929, this 4 star hotel in Pollensa was renovated in 2000, and is located right on the sea at the Pollensa bay.

The Illa d'Or offers 118 rooms, including 2 suites, all of them equipped with heating and air conditioning, satellite television, minibar, bathrobe, shaving mirror, hairdryer, safe box, direct phone and either balcony or terrace with views to the sea or the gardens.

Hotel guests facilities include a 24 hour reception desk with money exchange and luggage room, lounge bar and a la carte restaurant, as well as an outdoor swimming pool with sun beds and parasols, and the Vital Illa d'Or Health & Beauty Centre offering from volcanic stone massages, vinotherapy or reflexology, to pedicures, manicures, waxing, facials and a hairdresser’s salon.

The hotel also features an additional indoor heated swimming pool, a small gymnasium with sauna, and a Jacuzzi.

Bookings can be made either on a bed and breakfast basis or half board. Breakfast is served buffet style and includes selection of Mallorcan products and a dietary corner. Lunch and dinner are served a la carte in the restaurant.

During summer, guests are welcome at “La Terrassa”, the Illa d'Or restaurant a la carte lunch and dinner.
