Part of the Hotetur Chain of hotels, the Vistanova is situated on the Torrenova headland, next to Punta Ballena and the Magaluf beach and only 400 metres to the centre of Palma Nova. Built in 1969 and refurbished during 1995, the hotel offers 181 rooms built over 9 floors and surrounded by the pool area.

All rooms at the Hotetur Vistanova are air conditioned and come equipped with en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, satellite and cable TV, radio, safe extra charge) and either balcony or terrace. Double rooms fit up to 3 people, while triple rooms fit up to 4.

Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service, luggage rooms for late departures, car rental services, excursions, public Internet terminals, laundry and medical services and games room.

Bookings at the Vistanova can be done on bed and breakfast, half board or full board basis, all of them served on their international air conditioned buffet restaurant with hot and cold dishes. Additionally, the hotel also runs a bar cafeteria and a snack bar at the pool area.

Leisure facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool with separate children section, billiards, darts, board games, table tennis and aerobics.

During the summer the hotel also runs a daily entertainment program featuring water polo, aerobics and petanque during the day, as well as a children's mini disco at night time followed by either live music and shows.

I'm writing this review on behalf of my elderly mother and aunt who stayed in the hotel from the 6th to the 19th of October.

Firstly the hotel in its self was OK, the food was fine and the cleanliness was great although there sheets were not changed for the full 2 weeks, but I'm afraid thats where the good news ends.

On the 1rst week my mother had all her money taken out of her room. I'm saying taken because there was no sign of a break in which suggest's it was a worker within the hotel who stole it. In total 4 rooms were targeted all on the same floor. My mum was of course extremely upset but unfortunately the staff were unhelpful and very rude. They did not seem to want the police anywhere near the hotel, sending instead my mum to the police station herself. Thankfully she did not take no for an answer and the police came to the hotel much to the horror of some of the staff (hanyman), so please think again before going here.

How are you meant to protect your stuff when the people stealing it have keys to get in. It really is about time the management stood up and took notice of what is happening in there hotels, they want it all brushed under the carpet. I wonder why

Hi just returned from this hotel after spending 10 days here half board.

1. if your young ie under 30 it's great as it's right near the strip with its many bars and clubs

2. food not bad but gets repetitive after a few days.

3. ensure all valuables in safe at all times, as a lot of thefts while we were there. Don't expect the management to be supportive.

4. don't go to this hotel if you ave any problems walking as this hotel is in Torrenova, it is on top of a pretty steep hill.
