Part of the Marina Hotels group, the 3 star Marina Torrenova Hotel is situated only 100 meters from the Palma Nova beach on a rocky headland. Built in 1972 and renovated during 2003, the hotel features 254 rooms, including 15 suites, distributed across 7 floors and surrounded by Mediterranean gardens.

All rooms are air conditioned (or centrally heated, according to season) and come equipped with en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, mini bar, safe box, satellite TV and either balcony or terrace, some of which have views to the Med sea.

Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service and luggage rooms for late departures, vending machines, trip and transfers bookings, care hire and public Internet terminals.

The Marina Torrenova has a buffet style restaurant serving International dishes, including children's food, vegetarian menus and show cooking.

Other guest facilities on offer include an outdoor swimming pool with separate children's section and complimentary sun loungers and parasols, children's playground, pool snack bar and tennis court.

We stayed at this hotel for 14 nights from the 1st of June 2011.

Up till now we (my wife and myself) have stayed at adults only hotels so it was a shock to the system to be confronted by children. but no problem, they were no trouble due to the tireless efforts of the entertainment team, it was easy to avoid them.

The staff were great very helpful and pleasant, from the reception to the cleaners as well as the entertainers were all the same.

We found the food to be really good hot and tasty (except for salads and the ice cream of course).

The rooms were nice and were kept clean as was the public areas lounge and bar and grounds etc.

All in all excellent hotel. The only down side was the hill that it is on but you get used to it after a few days.

All in all we would be happy to return there.

Just came back from the Torrenova.

Location was great except for the fact it's built at the top of a big hill (haven't seen that fact mentioned anywhere).

The food was shocking, everything was stone cold except the soup and there was no kids club for my 2 1/2 year old son but on the plus side the staff were great, the pool area was brilliant, my son loved the kids park and the beach was close.

While it was a hard walk back to the hotel at night the exercise was great and I lost over a stone in the 2 weeks.

Overall I would go back if we could go room only.

2 adults, 2 children - what a fantastic time we all had.

The children really enjoyed the clubs, reps were great with them. Lovely Lisa and Gorgeous Greg worked 100% every day. Can't wait to go back.

Good choice of food everyday. I have to say thou the lifeguard must read 6 books every week cos I didn't see him move or look up! Except if there was a airbed in the large pool even at 5pm!

This hotel was absolutely fantastic when I was there last year.

The rooms are great and the food was great aswell, I am goin back again next year.
