The 3 key Roc Portonova Apartments (sometimes misspelled as Portanova) in Palma Nova are situated just across from the yacht club and only 200 metres from the beach, overlooking the bay.

Each of the Portonova apartments comprises 1 or 2 double bedrooms, a dining room, private bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a balcony (the most of them with views to the sea). All of them are also equipped with air conditioning system (or heating system, depending on the season), direct dial telephone and Satellite TV.

Hotel facilities include an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor heated one (open November to March), spacious terraces and sun beds. Adjoining the main building there is a breakfast room, and close to the pool a snack bar serving a wide variety of snacks and drinks (open only in summer). The hotel also offers its guests a "a la carte" restaurants.

The complex is located about 1 kilometre and a half from the resort centre, where the most of the bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets are located.

We have been to this hotel for the past 4 years and we are returning again in May.

The hotel itself is more than adequate for all ages and either families or groups. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. The location is excellent with fantastic views and the promenade is always clean and well kept.

We would not stay anywhere else, Palma Nova itself is ideal for all ages and close enough to Magaluf for those wanting extra nightlife.

The best on the sea front is Real Dion, fantastic food, service and prices.
