Located in the Son Caliu area in Palma Nova, the Ponent Mar Aparthotel is located at less than 100 metres from the beach and a short walk from the Palma Nova resort centre. Built in 1989 and renovated during 2004, the complex features 156 rooms, including 68 one bed roomed apartments and 88 studios distributed across 6 floors.

All the apartments and studios are air conditioned and come equipped with en suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, sofa beds, telephone, satellite TV and music channels, kitchenette, fridge and either a balcony or terrace. The apartments fit up to 3 adults and one child and the studios up to 2 adults.

Guest facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange, luggage and courtesy rooms for late departures, medical services, renting of safety deposit boxes, supermarket, car rentals, excursions, postal services, restaurant reservations, car park as well as helping with the booking of other activities in the vicinity such golf tee-times, tennis, paddle, horse-riding, scuba-diving, water-skiing, jet-skiing, jogging or cycling.

The Ponent Mar guest have 3 different restaurant at their disposal: the Ponent Mar, an indoor air conditioned restaurant where breakfast is served buffet style, the VistaMar offering an international menu as well as a special menu for children, and the BellaVista, a restaurant-terrace situated next to the outdoor swimming pool with views over Palma Nova.

Other facilities available to guests include a large outdoor freshwater swimming pool with complimentary sun lounger and parasols as well as an indoor heated pool, gym, 2 Saunas, beauty salon and massages services.

The Ponent Mar Aparthotel runs also an activities programme during the day, organised by their own team, consisting in games and activities for both adults and children alike including, rifle shooting, mini-disco, t-shirt painting, crab fishing, bingo and dance competitions, among others.
