Just back from this hotel yesterday 2.10.09.
Although only had 5 days found it more peaceful than most holidays we have had in Majorca. We were half board but found the food good, breakfast 5/5 and dinner 3/5.
Room was cleaned every day, staff were nice. Our room {313} faced the main road but traffic noise was not a problem, with no screaming kids running about this made the holiday for us.
The down side was that this is a good 3 star definitely not 4 as advertised.

Had a nice time at the Palma Nova hotel, the staff were very friendly and the food was good, the hotel was spotless.
Unfortunately the entertainment wasn't good.

Having recently arrived back from a 5 day holiday at the Palma Nova Place I feel I have to express my disatisfaction with this hotel.
Having stayed in many hotels I cannot see how the management and tour operators class this as a four star hotel. More like a 2/3 star.
Whilst the rooms were clean they were badly in need of refurbishment. Ours didn't even have a TV.
The reception staff were utterly miserable and unhelpful.
The food was ok except the pasta which was usually kept warm for too long and it dried up.
Other than the reception staff my main complaint was the state of the crockery. It was quite hard to find dishes, plates and saucers that didn't have a chip in them. Hardly four star quality.
Once bitten twice shy I shall definitely NOT be going to the Palma Nova Palace again.

The hotel is very clean and well kept and the food was also very good.
My only complaint would be the entertainment which was dismal and almost non existent. They really need to get some decent entertainment sorted.
I think this would stop me returning to the hotel in the future.

Just booked to stay at the Palace for a 4th time in Oct 09.
Super hotel. No screaming children. Food has always been the very good. Only draw back is the pool area is a bit cramped but when I go in Oct it is to see friends in the area, so not a problem for me and my partner.
Always check availability here first.

Just had a week 26/10 - 02/11 2008 and it
was a pleasant break.
We found the hotel to be clean, the staff very friendly,in a good location which is quite, but only a short distance to the shops and beach. The
bus stops were close by and regular to Palma and other places... rated 5.
The food/restaurant, I found to be very good, some folks I have read on other reviews said, repetitive... but there is enough choice on the menu to make a good choice... rated 5
Entertainment, having visited the hotel in October, we allowed for the wind-down of facilities and I think it only fair to say the acts/artists used, were gradually ending the more busy part of the season....rated 4
Value for money, definately,we will return in the near future. We met some nice people while there,it has a very friendly feel about it... rated 5

Rooms lovely. Food was well cooked but a bit repetitive.
The pool area was too shady for me but I know everybody is not a sun worshipper like me!
Evening entertainment was o.k. Hotel was well situated

Just come back from a 3 week stay at Palma Nova Palace, 22nd July - 5th Aug 08. Fantastic holiday.
I read a few bad reports before I went and was a little worried. I think that some people like to find problems.
Well, location great in a quiet area but easy to find more live if that's what you like. Rep, staff and entertainment lads are lovely. Food lots of it and drink lots of choice and plenty of it.
Bettina Khan from Manchester, June 30, 2008 1:11 PM
Couldn't have asked for a better holiday.
Food brilliant, staff friendly, funny and welcoming. The only down side as a non drinker no soft drinks with meals only water had to go downstairs to get them .

Stayed at hotel 2 weeks June 2008.
Hotel good, staff really friendly, food really good. Met loads of nice people.
Had a really good time, would recommend it. Should be a 5 star
Marilyn Lansley from Manchester, May 4, 2008 12:54 PM
Was at the Palma Nova Palace from 9.4.08-16.04.08. The time we were here the hotel was just geared up for the Spanish, all the entertainment was for the Spanish.
Although the bar was open until 1.00 am on a couple of nights they switched the lights out on us at 12.20 a.m which to us was very rude. The food was OK but very repetitive and at times not that hot.
it is an ideal hotel if you don't want children running around as they don't allow any one under the age of 16.
On the whole we enjoyed our stay at the hotel and would probably go again, but different weeks to the Spanish as we got sick of being pushed by them.

I was in Palmanova Palace 3 years ago.
Fab holiday, lovely hotel, good entertainment, it was nice to have a break from the grandchildren as there were no children under 15.
I would rate it 5 star
Joyce and Richard Dimbleby from Lincoln UK, February 13, 2008 9:38 PM
Excellent hotel, food varied, plentiful and good standard. Rooms pleasant and well appointed, cleaned daily.
Ideally situated to join motorways without going through built up areas. We were able to access walking areas on west and north of island very easily.
Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.

We have stayed at this hotel of+on for the last 5 years and we are booked again on 10 may to 17 may this year 2008 my wife + daughter+ partner.
Why because we need a rest and all that lovely food + people and that very nice coffee.
Donna Ternent from Gateshead, October 17, 2007 8:27 PM
My husband Simon and I have just been there for 4 days and loved it.
We met some lovely people there and got to know them through the entertainment which is daily. Beat everyone rifle shooting etc... didn't I Malcolm? hee hee.
We would definitely go back like a lot of the people we met do every year. Oh and by the way I would recommend a Baileys and Rum, yummy!
Kim Quaintance from Devon, UK, September 24, 2007 3:42 PM
Stayed at the Palma Nova Palace from Sept the 15th and until 22nd Sept this year and had the best week.
The hotel was fantastic, food, rooms and staff were so friendly.
I would go back again and again...
Mr R Moonan from Glasgow, August 15, 2007 3:16 PM
My wife and I were there about 5 or 6 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed it.
We made a lot of new friends who we still see we are going back on 13/10/07 and can not wait. I hope the excellent standards that were set are still being maintained. See you all soon.
William Davies from Swansea, Wales, July 23, 2007 9:51 PM
I have stayed at this hotel with my wife twice and found it to be fantastic, the food, drinks are excellent and the staff are very welcoming.
I have told my daughter all about our experience and now she is joining us in October this year.
Sarah from Dundee, June 21, 2007 12:09 PM
Stayed here in the past and have book up again for next August.
Great selection of meals, drink and entertainment. Would highly recommend this hotel.
Irene Martin from Glasgow, June 9, 2007 10:35 PM
Have stayed at this Hotel 4 times now and will be going back again next year, we go in April.
The rooms are cleaned daily and the food is varied and plentiful. Feel that this Hotel is more for the 45yrs and older.
