Okay..I went to the hotel in July 2009 and i thought it was lovely.

Food was good just don't expect Cordon Bleu it is a 3* hotel :)

Kids area was brilliant and good service. And Unlimited Drink/Help yourself at the bar...

The rooms were nice but not gorgeous but very homey and cosy and warm.

The beach is a 5 minute walk and is lovely, also the nightlife in the town centre was brilliant ..and so cheap :)
a lot of Irish and English people there also french but they don't bother me.

So this hotel is ideal for families and Young People, but not recommended for old people as it can be noisy before 11 pm...

I give the hotel 8/10... and do recommend it :D x

Bad reviews are doing my heading!!! If you're that fussy pick a 5 star.

This was a lovely basic hotel, definitely not under average! very clean!.And yes, there were french people there, but also British.

Food, just cannot fault it, my children loved it, and they are fussy eaters.

Great family holiday... my husband and I and the kids walked a bit to the shopping centre and thought it was lovely. Great holiday, definitely go back! Nice and clean, obviously seen 2 cockroaches, but that don't bother me, that's where ever you go.

If your a very fussy person and opinionated then do not book, because you let people down.

This hotel is fab, I recommend it to anyone.

Entertainment was OK .. didn't see my kids. The drinks were fab, no ques at all. Go help your self! My husband is very fussy with his lager abroad, and weren't quite happy with the plastic cups. But they done okay, considering he is fussy, ha-ha.

Lovely hotel and great time there, I booked for next year in July.

I would go here in the summer when it is packed. Hope you listen to my review and FORGET the others. Do NOT listen to them.

Lovely hol xxxx

Nice hotel, good size pool! Good food.

But not for anyone from the UK as it caters for the French + all the entertainment is in French...

French people from hotel stare at you wile you eat and get drink ...

Bar shuts at 11pm then they turn lights out wile English people are still sitting finishing there drinks !!

I stayed there Sept 2009. Never again! to this hotel.

The Hawai hotel in Palma nova is well better!!

Excellent food with plenty of choices.

We allocated very noisy room due to passing party goers and traffic noise, also walls very thin and you can hear every noise. We asked to be moved to quiet room and was given a room on the 4th floor. MUCH BETTER.

We were amazed to find that you help yourself to draught lager and spirits out of bottles AMAZING.There is never a queue. A few lager louts spoiled the pool area. They caused problems but were quickly thrown out, good to know problems will be dealt with which to be fair can happen in any hotel. Has lovely coffee machine and soft drinks machine where fresh water COLD can be obtained. First time abroad I have not used travel kettle to make coffee. Coffee is excellent.

Shame perhaps hotel is being used for hens and stag breaks, can be noisy. Some Hotels specify NO HENS OR STAGS. Noticed dining room window ledges very dirty and dusty dead flies also lying there.

Well lads if you're looking for an all inclusive this is the one for you, me and a mate went there last week an got our money back in booze first 3 nights. No bar man just left on bar for you to kill yoursen.

Food. Well put it this way, you wont starve. Even between meals there's stuff laid on all around , don't expect cordon bleu.

If you want a good top notch eat out, or impress a bird go to REAL DION out of main entrance turn left, left again, KEEP GOIN FOR ABOUT TEN MINS after that find Sharky's bar nearby same side, English bar full of UK. Nice bit of England in Mallorca.

After reading the reviews I tried to get moved but was unsuccessful.

Boy am I glad I found the Hotel clean and comfortable, the staff excellent and helpful , and the food wonderful, I will certainly be back.

It was only a short walk to a beautiful beach and although the weather was bad the hotel more than made up for it.

Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

Just got back May 2008. After reading bad reviews was not looking forward to going, however what a pleasant surprise.

Hotel staff were friendly. The rooms were lovely and clean, food was nice a good variety. Pool was lovely. There were a lot of French staying but most were very pleasant. The entertainment catered for both French and English.

What a lovely stay. Don't be put off by the bad reviews.

Oh what a lovely hotel I think not if you have booked up try and get else where.

When we got there there was no rooms. so they just dumped us across the road to another hotel. We were all inclusive but they just left us. Finally got a room the next day and what an eye opener crap the food wernt much better either.

If you are french then you will love it as all the entertainment was all in french as well as the kids club so if you have booked then good luck, hope you survive.

Went to this hotel May bank holiday weekend 2005.

It was a good base hotel but cannot say I ate much her as the food was rank (did try it ), the rooms are out dates and the bathrooms rusty showers are a must!!!! The water is that brown you look like you have a good base tan on your first day, the drinks are self service this includes the alcohol so kids have to be watched at all times as there is 5 bottles of each spirit lined up on the bar for you to help yourself. Cocktails like pinacolada are in a machine that you put your cup under (like in fast food outlets) and children were helping themselves.

We were a group of ladies on a hen party weekend who are all mothers and grandmothers and spent time round the pool or looking after othe peoples children with alcohol poisoning, a few of use are nurses in alderhey childerens hospital in Liverpool. It was very rare to see bar staff managing this area.

There is a fun pub down the road called Banana Joes, this is a must for all adults. If you are a bit wild its a place to let your hair down. Dancing on the bar is allowed (film...koyote ugly) and they even provide the shots for you to run up and down the bar with if you give them a dance. Beware they do also try and get you to do it topless for a special cocktail (saying nothing... slippery nipple tastes really nice) .C.M. is about a 15 minute walk away 4 euro in a taxi home.

Its not the best hotel I have stayed in and i deffo would not take my children there with fear of food or alcohol poisoning. I did see a kids club there on the first floor but no rep or children in 5 days. My room was over the bar/disco on the first floor viewing the pool, which is about 10x15 metres. It looks bigger on the pictures, we were very suprised on how small it was. Childrens outdoor area was a joke, would not lock a dog with rabies in it.

All in all majorca is great. Going there Feb half term with family but staying at Sol Cala Blanca, been there 5 times 0 complaints, its beautiful clean and all I can say you get what you pay for.

My husband and I booked five nights at the Hotel Ola Panama, and was looking forward to a short break. We had planned on meeting up with other family members who were booked in the hotel.

On arrival we were utterly gob smacked. Wait for it, not because we were impressed with what we saw, but quite the opposite. From the great big dirty canopy outside which looked more of a fire hazard than decorative. But the real shock to come was the bedrooms. We felt as if we had stepped back 70 years into the past. The tatty furniture, curtain and bedding was laughable. We both looked at each other and the same thought ran through our minds, do we turn and run now, or is there better to come.

But no, We are both in our 40s and we have never seen a hair dryer as the one in the bathroom. Old wasn't the word, antique was more suited. Surely those pink bathroom suites went out with Noah and the Ark. We got the runs on the first day and never eat or drank in the dining room again. The pool was dirty, and our room still had the previous guest rubbish left under the beds. The TV in the bedroom was dangerously perched high over the second beds, and all the cupboards doors rattled.

Would we go there again, Never!!! It should be condemned.

I have only been once to this hotel but I love it.

Not because I'm british like most have a bad name, I loved it because I found the frensh here was fantastic. I did not go to abuse the drinking like most do, I thought it was very friendly.

I'm actually trying to book my next holiday here. I went in may with my mother and she loved it, now i want to take my husband.

It is also a great place for kids, i'm hoping I can get in for october, don't expect 5* because ur not gonna get it, but to me it is what i like, saying no more, dont want too many going.
