Located only 200 metres from the Magaluf and close the resort's shopping centre and the BCM disco, the 1 key Sol y Vera Apartments offer self catering budget accommodation on its 90 one bed-roomed apartments and studio flats. Built in 1973, the complex suffered a major renovation during 2003.

All the apartments and studio flats at the complex come equipped with en suite bathroom with shower, combined kitchenette-lounge area with sofa beds, iron with board (on request), safety box for rent and either a balcony or terrace, some with exterior views.

Guest facilities on offer at the Sol y Vera Apartments include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange and luggage room for late departures, bar, restaurant serving local dishes, laundry service as well as an outdoors swimming pool with sun terrace and complimentary sunbeds.

The complex doesn't run any kind of entertainment activities, but it's very close to Magaluf's nightlife and all the major attractions. Recommended for lively young people.

Me and me friend stayed in Sol y Vera, we were there for a week only, wanted somewhere to get our head down and have a shower, etc... but what a shocking hotel.

I would seriously not go back here, the service from staff was terrible apart from one man who was on reception a lot of the time.

When we arrived at 1.30pm after waiting 2 hours on a coach, the lady at reception told us we had to wait an hour for our room (bearing in mind people were supposed 2 be out they're room at 12) with her excuse being "well it's not our fault we have knocked and they won't get out the room"

We had no maid in our room for the full 7 days meaning we had 2 go and get towels/toilet roll from reception. Also meaning that the rubbish we had never got collected, it was really unacceptable.

There was a leak from the ceiling in the bathroom which we had to put a bucket under, we reported this and nothing got done about it, there was mould growing along the walls.

Ahh it just was not a good place to stay.
