Part of the prestigious mallorcan hotel chain Sol Melia, the 5 star Illetas hotel Melia de Mar is located in the residential area of Illetas, right in front of the sea and with direct access to the sea and a private beach. Built in 1964 by the prestigious architect D. José Maria Coderch and refurbished in 2001 & 2008, the complex features 144 rooms, including 3 Junior Suites and 8 Grand Suites, built across 7 floors.

All rooms at the Melia de Mar Hotel are air conditioned and come equipped with fully equipped bathroom with with hair-dryer, magnifying mirror, bathtub and shower stall, Dreamax beds and a selection of of aromatherapy pillows, Satellite TV, direct dial telephone, writing desk, Internet access, mini bar, safety box and with views over the Palma Bay and the Illetas beach.

Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service and luggage rooms for late departures, business center, parking, lifts and a wide selection of restaurants offering a la carte menus.
