Situated right in front of the sea on a beautiful cove and only 5 minutes driving from Puerto Portals, one of the largest marinas in the Mediterranean, the 4 star Barcelo Albatros Hotel is an ideal hotel for golf enthusiasts and beach lovers. Built in 1963 during the tourist boom and renovated during 2001, the Albatros features 119 rooms, including 5 Junior Suites, built over 6 floors and surrounded by Mediterranean style gardens and sun terraces.

All rooms at the complex air air conditioned and come equipped with en suite bathroom with hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box, wireless Internet access, mini bar and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have view over the Mediterranean sea. Furthermore, all Junior suites are 35 sq metres and have an additional lounge area, a magnifying mirror and a desk.

Hotel facilities on offer include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange services and luggage rooms, 3 meeting rooms with capacity of 200 people, cyber corner, gift shop and car rental. The hotel also features an air conditioned buffet restaurant with views over the sea, an a la carte restaurant, piano bar, cafeteria and a poolside snack bar.

As for leisure, guests can enjoy an outdoor swimming pool for adults and a separated children's one with solarium with towel and lounge chair service, a heated indoor pool with salt water, Jacuzzi air-conditioned seawater, SPA, massage service and beautician as well as a Gym and a hairdresser.

Sports facilities in the nearby area which can be booking at the hotel include golf, bicycle hire, mini-golf, water-polo, windsurf, sailing, scuba diving or tennis, among others.
