Situated right in the centre of Can Picafort and next to the shopping centre, the THB Gran Playa Hotel it's just at a stone's throw from the magnificent beach and only 500 metres from the harbour. Built in 1964 and refurbished during 2003, the complex features a total of 177 rooms which are built over 4 floors.

All rooms at the hotel are air conditioned or centrally heated (according to season) and come equipped with bathroom with shower and hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box (extra charge) and terrace. Cots are available from the hotel, payable locally.

Hotel facilities include a 24 hour reception with currency exchange service and luggage rooms for late departures, bar-cafeteria, dining room with buffet service and show cooking, lounge and public Internet terminals.

Outside there is a large freshwater swimming pool and a solarium with complimentary sun loungers and parasols, and the beer garden -called "Poker"- with live music and DJ's.

An entertainment program is run by the hotel some days a week, with activities for both children and adults, including mini disco, live music and shows.

Furthermore, the THB Gran Playa also offers a little spa with sea views which, among other facilities, includes fitness room, jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bad and massage (on request and at an additional charge).
