Visited Son Baulo for the first time in June 2009 and have just booked to go back July 2010,

The hotel was lovely, very clean, food excellent and a great choice whatever your needs.

All the hotel staff and waiters were very friendly and I would definitely recommend this hotel. The locations is fab, right on the beach and opposite a nature reserve. Facilities at hotel quite adequate for a great holiday.

I've been to this hotel 4 times now with my family. This year will be my 5th visit. Its such a great place to be.

The location, staff, shops, beach etc are SO lovely. I come to this hotel with 8 other members of my family, who are aged from 5-73! and everyone has a great time.

It really should be 4* as there is something for everyone. Best hotel, best prices, best place!

Cant wait to return this August!

I worked in Son Baulo in 2008 as my last season working for Thomson.

I really enjoyed my stay there as I lived in the hotel itsself. I felt very welcome and as daft as it sounds it felt like home, the staff was very friendly and easy to talk to.

I would gladly go back there for a holiday, the location was amazing.

If you want a great holiday this is the place for you -especially if you have young kids.

Right on the beach, great views, quiet enough to get a decent sleep but if you want the lively bits of C'an Picafort they are within walking distance. Short walk to bus stop too so it is esy to get bout uner your own steam.

Lastly the staff -what can you say -they are the best and most friendly you can get anywhere! This was our third visit and it certainly won't be the last!

Just got back 2 weeks never seemed so long!!

Hotel was awful, the most uncomfortable bed Ive ever slept on. Food poor quality but lots of it. So if that's all that's important to you then book. Be prepared to pay for fridge, TV and safe.

The only good thing I can say is it was clean. My daughter went to the kids club which she hated, she normally loves these.

Would certainly not recommend or visit again.

We have just returned for a brilliant 2 week holiday at the hotel son balou. Me my husband and 2 children who are 7 and 2. What can I say.

The food was excellent, lots of choice. Desserts gorgous we were eating about three a night. We had a pool view which was great and also overlooked the nature reserve. The hotel was situtated near the beach which was very handy when you have to carry all the kids inflatables down.

The reception staff were very helpful as were all the waiters. The kids disco at night was very good although would have been a bit longer.

I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL.

We returned last Thursday from this fantastic hotel. We only booked it the week before departure as a late deal. We can't believe how lucky we were to have been offered this superb place.

Every member of staff is very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room we were allocated was very clean and spacious, nothing wrong with it at all. However, we decided to treat ourselves and upgraded to a suite. It was amazing, with a four poster bed, a lounge, two bathrooms and a huge balcony. It was heaven.

Please go to this hotel if you get the chance, you won't regret it. Thank you to everyone at the Son Baulo, We had a wonderful time.

The report says built in 1986 upgraded 2005, I went to this hotel in 1981 and it had been built a few years previously but the hotel was fantastic, right on the beach, I have visited several times since whilst in other hotels in the area.

Editor's note: built date has been fixed, it's 1968.

The hotel is gorgeous and we could not believe the location, it is so beautiful and is as close to the beach as it is to the pool.

We just wanted a rest and that's what we got, it is so peaceful and only a 20 min walk to the noise if you want it.

Please visit Shenanigans for great food, atmosphere and real drinks, the manager is so friendly. It is very close to the hotel.

My Family and I stayed at Hotel Son Baulo for 2 weeks in July 2008.

We had a fabulous time, highly recommended. Brilliant surroundings, magnificent staff. I have pasted a photograph that our kids had taken with the waiters above. I hope that you're able to view it. Give our regards to Paco Ruiz (Head Waiter) and the rest of the Staff,

From the Pitter, Murphy and Sissons Families.
