Situated only 150 metres from the beaches of Cala Esmeralda and Cala Ferrera and about 800 metres from the centre of Cala D'Or, the 3 star Cala Azul Garden hotel offers 126 one bedroom self catering apartments which are built over 3 floors and surrounded by n extensive garden of pine and palm trees around a central pool area. Built in 1994, the hotel suffered a major renovation during 2005.

All the apartments on the complex have one separated bedroom and come equipped with en-suite bathroom with shower and hairdryer, kitchenette with fridge, living room with 2 sofa-beds, telephone, satellite TV and either a balcony or terrace, most of which have views over the pool and garden area. Apartments are either air conditioned or heated depending on the season.

The hotel features a large central swimming pool, surrounded by a large terrace solarium with sunshades and sunbeds and a snack bar, with different depths and a separate section for children.

Hotel guest facilities include a 24 hour reception area, luggage and courtesy rooms for late check-outs, internet terminals and WiFi, an air conditioned buffet style restaurant, laundry and medical services and both lounge and pool bars. The Cala Azul Garden also shares many facilities with the Inturotel Esmeralda Park and Cala Azul Park complexes, part of the same chain and located at 150m distance, which includes a children's playground and mini club, an indoor heated swimming pool with gymnasium, sauna and Jacuzzi as well as some sport facilities.

At the Esmeralda Park they also offer a hairdressing salon and massage room staffed by qualified personnel. Additional charges may apply for these services.

The hotel runs an entertainment programme for children and young people, divided between the installations of the Inturotel Cala Azul Park and Esmeralda Park complexes and consisting in a comprehensive programme of activities, including games, sporting competitions and excursions. From June to September those are divided in to different age groups: Mini Club (4 to 7 years of age), Maxi Club (8 to 12 years of age) and Teenage Club (13 to 18 years of age).

During the evening the complex runs some shows and spectacles, organised by the entertainment team or by external groups of professionals offering folkloric concerts, musicals or visual events.
