Just come back from a week at Hotel Cala Bona and loved it.

Went with my parents and son. The room was clean and great sea view although i would advise when booking to book a room with a sea view otherwise you might get a view of a wall!! It is in 5 buildings but that didnt really matter.

Beach not far away either and they are lovely, clean and not too busy. Pleasent staff at the hotel and the head waiter is great and will help you in anyway. Breakfast was great and starters and desserts were fantastic but was a bit disapponted with the main courses on the evening meal.

Entertainment is great although there is bingo every night before the other entertainment, There was a guy who came outside on the marina who my son called "funny guy" who was hilarious and all the kids and adults loved to watch. He was fantastic with his tricks and banter he made, would recommend you keep an eye out for him!!! (he was on thur, sat and sun night at about 8.30pm)

Would recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to return sometime soon.

I've stayed at Hotel Cala Bona for 1 week in June.

Had a great time, staff and owners friendly, meals were great. Entertainment not to our liking some nights but that was our choice.

Great resort for a really relaxed and laid back break. hope to go again.

We stayed at the hotel in may 2010.

Yes, the staff were very helpful+very pleasant. The hotel was clean and the cleaners always had a smile for us.

The entertainment was probably a 3 out of 5. People were playing cards.

The downside was our sea view from the room was a brick wall of another block of the hotel + the nearest beach was a 20min walk away. There was one 10 mins away but it was covered in seaweed and rubbish.

Stayed for 2 weeks in June 2009

We took our granddaughter aged 3 and my dad - had a great time all of us together. Hotel, hotel staff and food were faultless.

Had a room facing the sea so could see all entertainment below us and watch everything going off. Hotel situated just in the right place.

Will defo return.

Been to the Cala Bona hotel 5 times and already booked for 2010. The staff in every department are fantastic and can't do enough for you.

Would not stay anywhere else in Mallorca.

My wife and I stopped in this hotel July 2008.

From the moment we arrived the hotel staff were fantastic, the Thompson rep was very helpful, the porters were great, the food was 5*. The day time pool staff were good, and the area around the hotel clean.

The rooms a bit on the small side, but clean and the towels changed regular.

My son was in Greece at the time with his girlfriend and mother and had to make his way back home by him self due to his girlfriend taking bad. So me and the wife started to panic a bit. The night porter put our minds to rest, as he rang around to find the number of the hotel he was stopping in so that we could talk to his reps to make sure that he got on his plane OK.

I will def go back to this hotel again.

My wife and I have just returned from a two weeks stay at the Cala Bona Hotel.

My wife is partially disabled. From the moment we arrived at the hotel, which was midnight. The night porter removed our luggage from mini coach and took it to our rooms. From that moment on we were treated with the utmost respect and courtesy by the whole of the staff.

The food was very good, maybe a little too much pork for my liking. The room was spacious, and the balcony overlooked the pool. Maybe we were very lucky, but we can only comment on our experiences.

We would not hesitate to recomend this hotel to any friend or aquaintance.

Can't fault the place, exceptional staff, very clean, food as expected, ie Spanish, booking again for later this year.

Only recommendation would be solar heating to pool, very cold in March. Can't wait to return

I have been to Cala Bona since the age of 11. I am 28 now and got a daughter of my own.

Such a wonderful place, good food, fantastic entertainment, comfortable relaxing rooms. In my personal view the best hotel in the world.

Thanks to everyone there. Hope to be coming back in October.

My husband and I honeymooned here in 1991.

It was wonderful, we met some lovely people and the staff were great, rooms lovely and clean, no faults what so ever.

We returned in 2007 with our two children and it was just as wonderful, the kids loved it. The resort is more built up now but still lovely.

Staff friendly, and courteous an 'hola' or 'buenos dias' goes a long way, after all they must get sick of loud, arrogant Brits abroad, I know I do.

Adios.

My husband is a wheelchair user and we found the staff very helpful and pleasant.

The views and entertainment were excellent and rooms very comfortable.

Have no hesitation in returning in fact it is one of our favourite places.

I agree with Margaret. I must have been at same hotel as her. Manager really dislikes the English and shows it.

Dining room like a works canteen. Would not recommend this hotel at all.

Food poor and I am not a fussy eater.

Some staff not very pleasant. Horrible manager does not like the English. When I read some reviews I wonder if we have been to the same hotel.

First holiday for a long time, the Cala Bona was great.

There was a good choice of food. Rooms very clean. The view from our room was breath taking. The beach was not that good but you could get a sun bed no trouble.

I will go back there no hesitation. Some people had been going there for the past 22 years. If that's not a good recommendation the I don't know what is.

My husband and I stayed at the hotel 12 to 19 September 07.

My husband is a wheelchair user, and this hotel was perfect. The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive. The sea view rooms have the most wonderful view. Rooms are clean and well equipped.

Pool area excellent though popular and therefore busy. Dining room a bit overcrowded with a lot of queueing especially at breakfast, but food very good.

Most people we met were returners, and we will be joining their ranks as I have already booked for next year.

A gem of a hotel.

Myself, my sister and a friend stayed at Hotel Cala Bona from 21 to 28 of July.

We found the hotel very pleasant, clean, well run and friendly. The pool was 1st class and the food was hot, fresh and a large choice was available every mealtime.

We enjoyed every minute we were there: food, room, pool, bar, staff, location... everything was the best.

We will recommend this hotel to everyone we know who wish to visit Cala Bona without hesitation.

Thanks to all staff xx
