Located in the hearth of Alcudia and only 200 metres from the beach, the Viva Tropic Aparthotel is specially indicated for families, offering a wide range of facilities to please both adults and children.

The complex has 301 apartments and studios (including 18 for disabled guests) with balcony, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, safe box, music channels, kitchen and fully equipped bathroom. From summer 2007, Superior Apartments completely redecorated and with new equipment are also available to book.

Facilities at the Viva Tropic include 6500 square metres of gardens, swimming pools for both adults and children, solarium with hammocks and parasols, pool towel service, 24 hours reception and medical service. Leisure facilities also include gym, spa, heated pool, massage service and a wide range of sports and such as maxi-basket or Putting-green.

There are 2 restaurants at the Viva Tropic Aparthotels: the Buffet Thalassa serving both breakfast and dinner and s'Estel Restaurant, the a la Carte dinning restaurant serving a selection of national and international cooking. Also, the complex has its own supermarket with national and international products and alcoholic drinks.

As at any Viva Hotel, the management offers a daily entertainment programme for adults and children (those always under the supervision of the entertainment staff). And during the night: live music, professional shows and varieties, among others.

We stayed at the Viva Tropic for the third time this year at Easter.

It is a fantastic hotel with something for all age groups. The evening entertainment is excellent and the hotel is always clean. we usually ate at the many local restaurants, but the hotel food is very good and reasonably priced.

I would thoroughly recommend the Viva Tropic.

We have booked the Viva Tropic again this year having stayed there in 2006. We found it to be an excellent property which is very well maintained and spotlessly clean.

Its proximity to the beach and port area, coupled with the fact that it is quiet at night made it a perfect option for myself and my husband.

The indoor pool whilst small, is a real haven if you want a quiet relaxing dip without children. With a jacuzzi, sauna and gym, we felt that the facilities were well beyond the hotel's rating.

We didn't eat at the hotel, as we preferred to sample the local restaurants and bars which were excellent.

In short, we would have no hesitation in recommending this property to anyone who wants a relaxing holiday, but also wants to be close to all that the resort has to offer.

We are really looking forward to our return this year!
