Renovated in 2005 and formerly part of the Hoteles Globales spanish chain, the Panoramic Hotel in Alcudia is situated right on the waterfront, facing the Playa de Barcares, a small and quiet beach, with views to both the bay of Pollensa and the Formentor. The hotel is approximately 1 kilometre from the Alcudia old town and 3 kilometres away from the Port d'Alcudia.

Hotel Panoramic has 163 rooms built over 4 floors, many of them with sea views. All of them have air condition system and have a bathroom with shower, telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box (available for rental) and either a balcony or terrace. Roms has 2 or 3 beds, but there is also a -limited- number of rooms with 4 beds. The hotel has facilities for people with disabilities (note: double check this if booking).

The hotel boasts a range of amenities, including a swimming pool and sun terrace with loungers and parasols, aerobic, water sports, tennis court or volleyball (some of these at an additional charge). A separate swimming pool for children is also available.

Entertainment consists in 3 shows per week, including live music. Children have a playground and there are some organised entertainment and activities for them, subject to demand.

Stays can be booked in either half board or all inclusive basis, the last consisting in breakfast, lunch and dinner buffet , snacks and drinks (including alcoholics). In any case, food is served in a buffet style in the main restaurant but the hotel also provides snacks at the a pool bar and the cafeteria.
