Just back from siesta, first time there and first holiday for two weeks and we all really enjoyed it.

We were s/catering in a 2 bed apartment, which was spotless, housekeeping were in everyday with clean towels. Big mention to all the reps, our kids aged 7 and 12 thought they were brilliant and they were always on the go.

Food in the red lion was tasty and you never left hungry. Lots of bars and shops, plenty of things to see and do that ahare just a bus journey away, lovely pool and tennis courts.

For a family that all have different interests we were all kept entertained.

Would recommend this resort to families and people who just want to relax in the sun [which was very warm 36].

A very good time had by all, thank you Siesta.

I went to the Siesta firstly in June 2007 and then we returned the next year in the height of summer:

I really loved these apartments, they were very clean, people in the Red Lion were nice, food was nice but we ate out and about most of the time. The pool for the kiddies is very safe and the beach is lovely. The reps put on a show for the kids most nights. Didn't use the kids club but most of the kiddies seemed to be enjoying themselves.

I must say the cleaners were very good and cleaned our apartment every day and changed the towels if you wanted them changing.

You must go to the pancake man on the strip because they are delicious.

Would recommend this as a perfect family resort especially out of season with toddlers.

We have just returned from the Siesta.

We found it very clean. The swimming pool was great as was Liz and Antonio from the restaurant, who were very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The evening entertainment wasn't bad with some good shows, will definitely be booking there for next year.

Thank you for a fantastic holiday.

Not what we expected thought we had booked 3*.

Food was basic but OK when they had what was ordered and when it could be tasted through the fag smoke.

The studio room was not suited to a family of 4, we lived out of a suitcase for the week and the bedding was next to useless.

We were unlucky to have bad weather for some of the week and there was ABSOLUTELY nothing to do, good job the kids had their DS's. The room did have English TV, the staff were pleasant and the pool was cold. We did go the last week of the season and i think the resort staff inc. the reps were just thinking of going home for winter so not much effort was put in to their roles.

We definitely won't go again, lots of flies and cockroaches. We got a late deal and it was cheap, now we know why we will pay a bit more next year!

Stayed in Siesta for 2 weeks, very clean. The cleaners came in ever other day to change towels bedding.

The reception people talking brilliant English, the staff in the Red Lion were polite and happy, the reps Aaron, Carla, Emma were the best ever. They made the 2 weeks stay the best, they entertained everyone, kids, adults, from 10 in morning till 12 at nite.

We're defo going back, all booked for 26Th may 09. So Siesta here we come, the best.

Booked this 3 days before we went and were very pleased.

Stayed in a studio and although furniture was dated, it was very clean and the facilities were great. Would book and go back again.

Just back from a week at the Siesta 1.

We stayed on a half board basis, the food choice was very limited and the children struggled some nights to eat anything. Breakfast was ample, the restaurant staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself was very clean, though the cleaners did tend to skim, the reception staff spoke excellent English and were all lovely. The courtesy bus to the beach is a people carrier that the reception staff drive and ask if you'd like book your return journey, they were always on time.

The children didn't join the kids clubs but daytime entertainment was plenty and kept everyone busy, the young reps seemed friendly and fun. We only went to two of the evening entertainment, as there wasn't much for adults, these started at 10pm, the bird show lasted about half an hour but was excellent, the reptile show lasted about fifteen minutes after starting forty minutes late!!

Lots of shops, restaurants and pubs very close by. We cant fault the hotel or its staff my only moan will be in Thomas Cook's direction!

Found the hotel OK. This hotel ought to be self catering only, as there was not much choice of meals in the dining room especially for kids. Julio and Liz who served in the restaurant were excellent but some of the staff in the Red Lion were in need of a few manners.

The entertainment for kids was rubbish apart from the odd game. Pool area was OK but the queuing system at 9 o'clock was rubbish. Adult entertainment was almost non existent.

The rooms were OK but the cleaners only skimmed over it, and at the end of the two weeks we were there cobwebs had formed on the balcony. There was the usual noisy ones with no consideration for others at night time.

Don't think this is an hotel we would visit again.

We were very impressed with the apartments and the facilities on site, the apartment though basic was very clean and comfortable plus well equipped.

The maid service was very good and thorough. The Red Lion restaurant was very welcoming and value for money on all items on menu, the service was excellent. The pool was clean and tidy with plenty of sunbeds available, subject to time of day. The supermarket was very reasonable and well stocked, we will undoubtedly return very soon.

Congratulations and thanks to the management and staff. Added bonus was that it was wifes and child's first time abroad and both enjoyed the whole experience.Excellent!!

Dirty ant infested and big bugs. We had to put up with these insects for three days and nights before we were moved to another appartment.

Complaints were made several times a day. It is only because we took photos of the army of ants and bugs that we were eventualy offered another room. We were told that they were full and no rooms were available.

The ant infested room was 509.This was yes the fith floor.

Great apartments, clean and spacious. On site restaurant and bar serves 3 course multi choice evening meals for 8 euros - a bargain. Plenty of free sun-beds around pool and gardens, on-site entertainment daily although mainly geared towards the children.

La Luna restaurant along the main drag has top quality tribute artists and you can go there without having to buy a meal, just have a drink. Meals are also good value here. Am definitely going back!
